*Pure ghee Mysorepak is a rich South Indian sweet made from ghee, chickpea flour (besan), and sugar. To prepare, roast besan in ghee until aromatic. Then, mix in a sugar syrup until the mixture thickens and leaves the pan’s sides. Optionally, add cardamom powder for flavor. Pour into a greased tray, cool, and cut into pieces.
